Patel Optics was founded in 1986 by Mrs. Nusrat Patel, who is still the CEO of the family business. The first branch was set up in Beau-Basin, on the main road, and has, until now, been a hit with its locally-based clientele.
Patel Optics has focused from the outset on two pillars, which are the service and quality of the product, allowing the opticians and optometrists to maintain customer loyalty.
Over the last decade, young healthcare professionals have joined the team and are no less the sons of the current CEO, Naumaan and Ijaz Patel. The latter is also the current director of the company under the stewardship and wisdom of the founder. With the avant-garde spirit, the new generation has opened a branch in Rose Hill, then impose its trace to Triolet, north of the island.
